There are lots of Tex-Mex restaurants in the city but none are as popular as Chili’s. Folks from all walks of life have lined up for sizzling plates of Fajitas or the world-famous Original Baby Back Ribs.
Recently, Chili’s presented their Top Fusions menu, a delightful line of new dishes fused with unexpected yet exciting flavours. So, if you’re on the lookout for something different and interesting to eat this Holiday season, these dishes are your best bets.
Anything on the menu that’s grilled is worth getting, but start out with an order of Hand-stuffed Baked Jalapeño wedges and you’ll see what the hype is about.
Now the entrees… I’ve to say the BBQ Steak with Chimichurri is my favourite of the bunch. The chimichurri enriches the steak with its bold flavours without overwhelming the senses.
Seared Lamb with Fig Sauce is another crowd favourite — perfectly seared lamb chops accompanied by a delicious fig sauce that adds both visual appeal and a hit of flavour often acting as counterpoint to the rich lamb meat.
The Top Fusions menu also includes unbeatable Salmon with Aji Amarillo Sauce, and juicy Chipotle Steak that soak up flavorful balsamic dressing.
With its small menu of simple but elegant fusion dishes, a dinner (or lunch, if you’re lucky to work nearby) at Chili’s is a welcome break from fancy, over-the-top plates. Add in frozen margaritas for refreshments and that’s all the menu you need.
While authenticity is important, it is innovation that keeps the food industry moving forward and evolving and that innovation impacts both the restaurant and the diners. Whether you need a filling lunch or a special night out, Chili’s Top Fusion dishes will never let you down.
