Vask Tapas Room Weekend Brunch

I believe that great customer service can make or break a restaurant. While food quality is incredibly important, it is the experience diners have from the minute they walk in the door to the minute they exit that counts. Vask Tapas Room definitely knows how to keep their customer’s needs at the forefront of every dining experience.

My Mum and I were treated to a wonderful weekend bruch at Vask Tapas Room. Everything was exquisite from the trio appetizers, to the main course, down to the dessert.

Trio Appetizers (Basque Country Chorizo, Beef Cranberry Pintxo, Albondigas de Pescado)

My personal favourite would have to be the Stuffed Chicken with Barley and Greens on the side. The chicken was tender, juicy, and perfectly-cooked. Our meal concluded with a slice of freshly-baked Chocolate and Pumpkin Loaf. It gave a nice closing note, with a delicious sweetness.

There’s something about Vask’s simple, unpretentious food that I love. It shows me that the focus is more on the flavour and not just on the “visual appeal”.

Sure, there are a lot of new restaurants in BGC but there’s no question where you’ll be making a stop the next time you’re in the area. Many thanks to the staff and Chefs of Vask for preparing a delicious weekend brunch for me and my Mum!
