I’ve been writing a ton of reviews tonight, so I want to wind down and keep this short. Bad Bird’s Fried Chicken is just a smidge more expensive than fast food (**Php110, 1-pc fried chicken, Php45, cup of steamed rice), but way, way, WAY better.
The most expensive thing that you can get for one person is the Corn and Slaw Plate, which in my opinion is a great deal for Php330**. You get two pieces of Fried Chicken, Corn on a stick with Bonito flakes, Kewpie, Cheese, and Togarashi, and a bowl of Kimchi Coleslaw. Gluttony defined, folks.

The fried chicken was juicy, flavourful, and tender. The skin was beautifully coated in Bad Bird‘s signature ‘Chemical’ spice and was super crispy. The first bite of corn was so sweet, perfectly-savoury, and buttery-good that I got all light headed and heard angelic choir music and felt like I was floating upward toward a great light. Well, that’s how I remember it. For sure, all of the sides are absolutely delicious and you cannot go wrong with anything here BUT the Corn on a stick is highly recommended.

Another great Hole In The Wall find! Looking forward to coming back often. If you’re in the area, please do yourself a favour and try Bad Bird’s Umami Fried Chicken.
